Nicaragua mama Mina Red Pacamara Specialty-88p
Named after Erwin Jr.’s great-grandmother, Mina McEwan, Mama Mina is a coffee farm that holds deep significance for the Mierisch family. Originally purchased in 2012 as La Minita, it was later renamed Mama Mina to avoid confusion with a well-known Costa Rican coffee farm while serving as a heartfelt tribute to Mina, who passed away in 2008 after dedicating much of her life to the coffee industry.
Located within the Arenal Natural Reserve in Matagalpa, Mama Mina sits at an elevation of 1,315-1,400 meters above sea level and shares a wet mill with La Huella, another Mierisch family farm located right next door.
