Coffee is 98% water, yet many people ignore the importance of this component. It has a major effect on the final result. Poor-quality, hard water can make even the best ingredients taste bad or average.
CAFFePURE is a Swiss company specializing in solutions for cleaning capsule machines. With their products, the appliance can be cleaned from all types of contamination caused by use. Good coffee requires more than good raw material and the right equipment. A neglected, dirty machine can significantly reduce the coffee experience. 
The layer of coffee oil that “covers” the brewing unit helps achieve good coffee flavour to a certain extent. Beyond a certain level, however, it results in oily and rancid flavours. Regular cleaning, which can improve the quality of the coffee, helps preserve the machine’s efficiency and service life. Coffee deposits and limescale can damage expensive appliances. Once enough buildup forms, whether limescale or oil, it can block the path of the water and reduce the machine’s efficiency. Although many people are satisfied with it, cleaning with clean water is unfortunately not enough to remove coffee oil and limescale.
CAFFePURE cleaning solutions offer a quick and easy solution for keeping coffee machines clean, without any unpleasant chemical “aftertaste”.
A common problem with many cleaning agents is that they leave a sterile, chemical, menthol-like flavour behind, achieving exactly the opposite effect from what is desired. Some CAFFePURE products contain a small amount of coffee aroma to preserve the true flavour of coffee. However, this should not be understood as an overpowering aroma. It is only intended to prevent an unpleasant flavour from remaining after cleaning.
The cleaning tablet is intended for cleaning water tanks, capsule holders and drip trays. These parts are also prone to getting dirty, and this environment provides an ideal breeding ground for bacteria growth and unpleasant odours. Unfortunately, clean warm water is not enough to clean the surfaces. 
This is why CAFFePURE developed this cleaning tablet: to dissolve the stuck-on slimy layer in these areas. This is also ideal because water from the tank passes directly into the inside of the machine, so this part is also protected. Good coffee can only be made with a clean coffee machine.
Recommended use: at least every 2–4 weeks!
How to use it?
Cleaning the coffee machine water tank:

1. Remove the water tank from the coffee machine and fill it with warm, clean water.
2. Place 1 capsule in the water (if the tank is very dirty, use 2 capsules) and let the solution work for 15 minutes. IMPORTANT: do not exceed this time!
3. Then rinse the water tank with warm, clean water before using it again.

WARNING! Do not allow the solution to run through the coffee machine under any circumstances. This cleaning agent is not designed for cleaning the internal parts of the coffee machine. If this accidentally happens, run 3 full water tanks of clean, room-temperature water through the coffee machine to flush out the solution.
Cleaning the capsule holder and drip tray:

1. Remove the capsule holder and drip tray from the coffee machine. Then remove the used capsules from the capsule holder.
2. A small amount of dark liquid has probably accumulated in the drip tray and capsule holder from the used capsules. This liquid should be rinsed away under a little running water.
3. Place the capsule holder and drip tray in a small container and pour in enough water to cover them.
4. Place 1 or 2 tablets in the water, depending on the level of contamination, and let it work for 15 minutes. IMPORTANT: do not exceed this time!
5. Rinse the cleaned parts with clean, warm water.
